ORMMA: Open Rich Media Mobile Advertising

We believe that mobile rich media should utilize open ad serving standards, just like desktop rich media.  Publishers should not be required to purchase mobile ad servers or integrate multiple SDKs in to their apps to serve rich media ads.

Open Web Standards

When creating Crisp rich media ads, we deliver a single ad tag that automatically recognizes the device, platform, and browser and delivers the appropriate ad creative.  We fully support 3rd party ad serving through existing desktop ad servers such as DART and ATLAS, as well as mobile ad servers, such as AdMarvel and mOcean Mobile.

Open Ad Delivery into Mobile Apps

In the past, to run rich media ads in mobile apps, developers had to integrate SDKs from multiple ad networks or rich media vendors into each version of their app.

To solve this problem, Crisp has partnered with The Weather Channel, TringApps, PointRoll, Jumptap, and other leading vendors, publishers, and developers to form ORMMA, the Open Rich Media Mobile Advertising initiative to support open standards for serving ads into mobile applications.
