Location-based Ads

Location-based ads are no longer limited to in-application advertising.  The new iPhone 3.0 OS offers in-browser support for location, opening up new possibilities for advertisers.  Offering "tap-to-locate" functionality from within the ad unit, consumers agree to utilize their location data and are then automatically directed to the closest brand location.  This is an ideal call-to-action for car manufacturers, retail stores, restaurants, and more.

Location-input ads are also available for BlackBerry, Palm Pre, Android, and other smartphones.  These ads allows consumers to enter their location's zip code directly into the ad unit to be directed to a location listing or Google maps.
