Mobile Web Design Trends
16 Jan 2009 - Tamara Gruber
For a long time we've been talking about creating a Mobile Web Design best practices blog post but as with most businesses, we are too busy implementing these best practices to actually write about them. But today I stumbled across a great post via FierceMobileContent titled "Mobile Web Design Trends for 2009" by Steven Snell. Steven does an excellent job not outlining the trends, describing the challenges, and providing guidelines mobile design. The post also includes a gallery of mobile sites, in which I was pleased to see a few Crisp Wireless sites featured including CNN, The Washington Post, and Fandango. He also provides links to developer resources such as device emulators. While we will still work on our own guidelines, in the meantime, I recommend that you check out Steven's post on Smashing Magazine.com.
